Ingredients
200ml NutriSoy Fresh Soya Milk (No Sugar Added)
1 medium yellow onion, diced
1 tbsp chopped garlic
1 block firm tofu, diced into 1cm cubes
1 tbsp gochujang
1/2 tbsp of sugar
1 medium green bell pepper, diced
To Garnish
chopped spring onions
toasted sesame seeds
Steps
- Heat a frying pan over high heat. Once hot, add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil.
- 2.Add diced tofu and fry until golden brown. Set aside to cool.
- In the same pan, reduce to medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of oil.
- Add chopped onion and bell pepper. Sauté for about 3 minutes.
- 5.Add chopped garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Stir in gochujang and sugar, mixing well.
- Pour in NutriSoy Fresh Soya Milk (No Sugar Added) and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce until the sauce thickens to a gravy or glaze consistency.
- Return the tofu to the pan and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
- Serve over rice and garnish with chopped spring onion and sesame seeds.
