Ingredients
600g Large prawns (cleaned)
2 stalk Lemongrass (bruised)
2cm Galangal (bruised)
2inch Raw turmeric (blended)
5 nos Bird eye chili (blended)
5 tablespoon Chili paste (blended boiled dry chili)
8 nos Shallot (blended)
5 cloves Garlic (blended)
1 tablespoon Shrimp paste ( roasted and blended)
4 nos Kaffir lime leaves (tear)
2 nos Dried tamarind
¾ cup F&N Evaporated Filled Milk
2 cup Water
3 tablespoon Cooking oil
To taste Salt and sugar
Methods
- In a pot, heat up oil and sauté chili paste until split from oil.
- Add in blended raw turmeric, bird eye chili, shallot, garlic, shrimp paste and sauté until fragrant. Then add in water, dried tamarind, lemongrass, galangal, kaffir lime leaves and bring to boil.
- Then add in F&N Evaporated Filled Milk and simmer until thicken.
- Season to taste and add in prawns. Bring to boil again for 5 minute or until the prawns fully cooked. Serve while it’s hot.
- This recipe can be prepared using chicken meat as well

600g Udang besar (dibersihkan)
2 batang Serai (dititik)
2cm Lengkuas (dititik)
2inci Kunyit hidup (dikisar)
5 biji Cili padi (dikisar)
5 sudu besar Cili giling (cili kering yang telah direbus dan dikisar)
8 biji Bawang merah (dikisar)
5 ulas Bawang putih (dikisar)
1 sudu besar Belacan (dibakar dan dikisar)
4 helai Daun limau purut (dikoyak)
2 keping Asam keping
¾ cawan Susu Isian Sejat F&N
2 cawan Air
3 sudu besar Minyak masak
Secukup rasa Garam dan gula
Cara Penyediaan
- Panaskan sedikit minyak di dalam kuali dan tumiskan cili giling sehingga pecah minyak.
- Masukkan kunyit hidup, cili padi, bawang merah, bawang putih dan belacan yang telah dikisar dan tumiskan lagi sehingga harum. Masukkan air, asam keping, serai, lengkuas dan daun limau purut dan rebuskan sehingga mendidih.
- Setelah mendidih masukkan Susu Isian Sejat F&N dan rebuskan lagi sehingga menjadi sedikit likat.
- Masukkan garam, gula dan udang. Rebuskan selama 5 minit atau sehingga udang masak dan sedia untuk dihidangkan.
- Resipi ini juga sesuai disediakan menggunakan ayam.
