Ingredients

1 tsp Cumin seed

3 tbsp Oil

3 tbsp Potato, peeled, cubed

½ can F&N Evaporated Creamer

1 cup Water

1 tsp Garam Masala powder (optional)

¼ cup Cilantro, chopped (optional)

To taste Salt

To taste Sugar


Curry Paste

2 tsp Curry powder

2 cloves Garlic

½ pc Ginger

1 no Onion

2 no’s Dried red chilli

2 tbsp Water

Methods

  1. Heat a pot with oil on medium fire, add in cumin seed until it starts cracking.
  2. Next, add in blended curry paste. Cook the curry paste until oil split from the mixture. Then, add in cubed potatoes and coat the potatoes with curry paste.
  3. Pour half of F&N Evaporated Creamer and water into the pot, mix gently. Once boiled, cover the pot with lid and switch to low heat. Let it simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the potatoes are soft.
  4. When the potatoes have softened, pour the rest of F&N Evaporated Creamer and chopped cilantro in to the pot.
  5. Lastly, season the curry with salt, sugar and Garam Masala powder.
  6. Serve Aloo Dum with your favourite dosai or biryani rice.

Bahan-bahan

1 sudu kecil Jintan putih

3 sudu besar Minyak

4 biji Kentang, potong dadu

½ tin Krimer Sejat F&N

1 cawan Air

1 sudu kecil Serbuk Garam Masala (pilihan)

¼ cawan Daun ketumbar, dicincang (pilihan)

Secukup rasa Garam

Secukup rasa Gula


Pes Kari

2 sudu kecil Air

2 ulas Serbuk kari

½ pc Bawang putih

1 biji Halia

2 biji Bawang merah

2 sudu besar Cili merah kering

Cara-cara

  1. Panaskan periuk dengan api sederhana dan masukkan minyak, tumiskan jintan putih sehingga naik bau.
  2. Seterusnya masukkan pes kari. Masak sehingga pecah minyak. Kemudian masukkan kentang.
  3. Tuangkan separuh tin Krimer Sejat F&N dan air ke dalam periuk dan kacau. Apabila mendidih, tutup dengan penutup dan tukar api ke rendah. Biarkan ia masak selama 15-20 minit.
  4. Apabila kentang sudah menjadi lembut, masukkan separuh lagi Krimer Sejat F&N dan daun ketumbar.
  5. Akhir sekali, tambahkan garam, gula dan serbuk Garam Masala sehingga secukup rasa.
  6. Hidangkan Aloo Dum dengan dosai atau nasi biryani.
