1 kg Beef chunk

25g Rendang Mix

150ml Cooking oil

4 tbsp Kerisik

2 tsp Tamarind paster, diluted with 2 tbsp of water

4 pcs Kaffir lime leaf

2 pc Turmeric leaf, cut thinly strips

2 tsp Salt

2 tbsp Sugar

1 can F&N Evaporated Filled Milk 

 Spices

6 nos Red Onions

8 cloves Garlic

2 inch Turmeric

2 inch Ginger

2 inch Galangal

6 nos Lemongrass, white part only

200g Boh Chili paste

4 tbsp Cooking Oil

Preparation

  1. Blend all the spices into paste.
  2. Heat a medium pot with oil, sauté the blended spices until aromatic and splits from oil about 15 minutes. Add in rendang mix and cook for 2 mins.
  3. Add in the beef chunk, cook in low fire for 30 minutes, until the beef is cook and paste turns dry.
  4. Add in kerisik, kaffir lime leaf, turmeric leaf, and tamarin paste. Cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Add in F&N Evaporated Filled Milk, salt and sugar. Let it cook for another 15 minutes until the sauce thickens and dry.
  6. Dish out and garnish with turmeric leaf. Serve

Bahan-bahan

1 kg Daging ketul

25g Serbuk Rendang BABA’S

150ml Minyak masak

4 sudu besar Kerisik

2 sudu kecil Pes asam, cairkan dengan 2 sudu besar air

4 helai Daun limau purut

2 helai Daun kunyit, potong nipis

2 sudu kecil Garam

2 sudu besar Gula pasir

1 tin Susu Sejat F&N 

 Rempah

6 biji Bawang besar

8 ulas Bawang putih

2 inci Kunyit

2 inci Halia

2 inci Lengkuas

6 batang Serai, bahagian putih sahaja

200g Pes cili boh

4 sudu besar Minyak masak

Langkah-langkah

  1. Kisar semua rempah menjadi pes.
  2. Panaskan periuk saiz sederhana dengan minyak, tumis rempah adunan selama 15 minit atau beraromatik dan pecah dari minyak. Masukkan Serbuk Rendang BABA’S dan masak selama 2 minit.
  3. Masukkan daging, masak dengan api kecil selama 30 minit, sehingga daging masak dan pes jadi kering.
  4. Masukkan kerisik, daun limau purut, daun kunyit, dan pes asam. Masak selama 2 minit.
  5. Masukkan Susu Sejat F&N, garam dan gula. Biarkan masak selama 15 minit sehingga kuah jadi pekat dan kering.
  6. Keluarkan dari api dan hiaskan dengan daun kunyit. Selama nikmati.
