Caramel

100g Sugar

2 tbsp Water

Flan layer

250g Ideal Evaporated Full Cream Milk

200g Condensed Milk

3 nos Egg yolk

1tsp Vanilla essence

Chocolate Cake Layer

175g Ideal Evaporated Milk

140g Condensed Milk

150g Cooking oil

140g Sugar

80g Chocolate powder

3 nos Eggs

80g All-purpose flour

¾ tsp Baking Soda

¾ tsp Baking Powder

Methods

  1. Prepare an 8-inch round mould. To make caramel, add water and sugar in a pot. Cook until it turns amber colour. Transfer and spread the caramel around the mould.
  2. Mix all the flan ingredients in a mixing bowl. Pour into the mould and cover with aluminium foil, steam for 25mins. Dish out and set aside.
  3. Mix all the ingredients of chocolate cake, gently pour into the mixture into the mould onto the flan layer. Cover with aluminium foil steam for 45-60 minutes or toothpick inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean. Remove from heat.
  4. Let it cools completely, run a clean knife through the edge of the cake, invert to unmould the caramel flan chocolate cake onto a plate.
  5. Serve immediately or chill the cake overnight for the best taste.

200g Susu Pekat

3 biji Kuning Telur

1tsp Ekstrak Vanila

Lapisan Kek Coklat

175g Susu Sejat Penuh Krim IDEAL®

140g Susu Pekat

150g Minyak Masak

140g Gula

80g Serbuk Coklat

3 biji Telur

80g Tepung Gandum

¾ sudu kecil Serbuk Soda

¾ sudu kecil Serbuk soda

Cara Penyediaan

  1. Mula-mula sediakan karamel, tuangkan air dan gula ke dalam kuali. Panaskan gula dalam kuali hingga perang. Tuangkan karamel ke dalam loyang bulat 8 inci.
  2. Campurkan kesemua bahan flan dan sebatikan. Kemudian tapis bancuhan flan ke dalam loyang karamel tadi. Balut dengan kerajangan aluminium dan kukus selama 25 minit.
  3. Gaulkan semua bahan kek coklat, tuangkan adunan ke dalam loyang lapisan flan tadi. Balut dengan keranjang aluminium dan kukus selama 45-60 minit. Cucuk dengan pengcukil gigi, jika tiada cecair melekat tandanya kek sudah masak.
  4. Biarkan kek sejuk sepenuhnya dalam acuan kek sebelum mengeluarkan dari acuannya dengan pisau.
  5. Hidangakan segera atau sejukkan kek semalaman untuk rasa yang terbaik.
