65gDark chocolate compound

140mlWhipping cream

1 can (390g) IDEAL® Evaporated Full Cream Milk

2 nos   Egg

95g  Castor sugar

500g White bread loaf

30g Cocoa powder

Vanilla Sauce

2 tbsp  Corn starch

65g Sugar

1/8 tsp  Salt

2 tsp Vanilla extract

2 nos Egg yolks

1 tbsp  Butter

120ml Water

1 can (390g) IDEAL® Evaporated Full Cream Milk


  1. Combine IDEAL® Evaporated Full Cream Milk, sugar and cocoa powder in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat until the milk starts to bubbling.
  2. Turn off the heat and stir in whipping cream and dark chocolate compound. Keep stirring to melt the chocolate.
  3. Whisk eggs in a bowl. Slowly whisk the milk mixture into the egg.
  4. Cut the bread into cubes, put them into a baking tray.
  5. Pour the chocolate custard over the bread. Bake in a preheated oven at 170℃ for 45 minutes.

Vanilla Sauuce

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan, keep stirring over low heat.
  2. When it starts bubbling, keep stirring for another 2 minutes to thicken the sauce.
